서울의 글씨를 지도모양으로 형상화하여 표현했습니다. 서울의 자치구가 모여서 하나된 서울글자를 이룹니다. 즉 ‘함께서울’을 의미합니다.

서울의 글씨를 검은 먹으로 그린듯한 캘리그라피로 감성서울의 이미지를 나타내었다. 또한 배경으로 N서울타워의 일러스트, 서울의 지도를 그린 라인 표현과 함께 색종이로 오린듯한 컬러와 모양으로 밝고 활기찬 ‘꿈의 서울’의 이미지를 타이포그래피로 표현하였다.

서울의 지도에 타이포그래피적 요소를 더하여 표현하였습니다. 서울의 자치구마다 서울이라는 글자를 채워서 하나된 서울 즉 ‘함께서울’을 의미합니다.

서울의 이미지? 저는 빛나면(서,울)려퍼지다 라는 문구를 떠올렸고 이 문구로부터 시작하였습니다. 빛이라는 소재는 기회, 밝은 미래의 이미지를 나타낼 수 있고 개인적으로 서울에 올라와서 처음 본 야경에서 느껴졌던 이미지와 맞아서 사용하게 되었습니다. 서울의 야경(별,가로등,건물들의 불빛)이 도시를 밝게 비추고 이 빛이 멀리 퍼지는 이미지를 상상하였고 도시의 길거리를 촬영하여 디자인해보았습니다. 글씨는 손 글씨를 이용해 너무 딱딱하고 차갑지 않은 서울의...   Read more

서울은 참 복잡한 이미지를 가질 수 있지만 잘 살펴보면 디자인 적으로 꽤 단순히 잘 정리되어 있다는 느낌을 받습니다. 그런 이미지를 가지고 서울이란 도시를 가장 단순한 선들과 형태들로 보여주려 하였습니다. 달, 산, 거리의 별들은 서울의 대도시적인 이미지속에 가진 운치와 차분한 분위기를 동시에 가지는 것을 보여줍니다. 그래서인지 색감 또한 한톤 낮은 색들로 구성하게 되었습니다.

A girl in colourful hanbok is a symbol of colourful life and culture in Seoul which makes everybody loves it. I hope that even in modern lifestyle, Seoul will still preserve the traditional way of life.
