SInce my arrival in Seoul at the end of February, I have already had the chance to attend various festivals. Among the others, I highly enjoyed the Hangang Yeouido Spring Flower Festival in April and the Dongdaemun Lantern Festival in May. The joyful atmosphere and the uniqueness of the surroundings make these events simply magical. The way that Seoul manages to combine traditions and new trends is exemplary.

Hey guys. If you havent already heard, yesterday in Uijeongbu there was the B-Boy World Masters Championship. There were three categories to compete in. PopPin, Rocking and Dance Crew Battle. There were four teams for each event. The Judges were famous dancers from Korea, Brazil, USA and Canada. There was even a guest performance from Seoul Sistars I am not sure how to spell their name. On my first venture to Namdaemun Market during my first weekend in Seoul as a tourist, I got lost. I think I got out on the wrong exit and ended up on the opposite side. I remember asking for help twice, but since both Korean women didnt speak English and I couldnt speak survival Korean then!, I just had to find my way back to the correct exit. Fortunately, I was able to buy the souvenirs I had to bring back home: Korea t-shirts, traditional Korean fans and of course, a poster of a popular Korea
